DEFINITION:

A commandment given by Jesus the night of His betrayal,
during the Passover Feast, to be observed on the first day of the week
(Acts 20:7). It has several names, Lord's Supper, Breaking of Bread,
Eucharist or Communion. The Greek word translated as "communion"
means "fellowship." It is our fellowship with Jesus on the first
day of every week.
