- Affected Teachings
- Here is another attack on the deity of the
Lord Jesus Christ. His name “Jesus” has been omitted from
the three basic corrupted manuscripts and no reason is given
for this omission. In fact, there is nothing mentioned as to
why his name was omitted. This omission attempts to detach
the Lord Jesus Christ from His divine title as “Son of God.”
This verse is one of approximately 125 verses in the New
Testament in which the minority text versions omit some part
of His divine title.
