1. A TEACHER'S FORMER POSITION IS USUALLY CONSIDERED
1. Jesus came from God. John 3:2
2. His work there was pronounced good. John 1:1; Gen. 1:31
3. Was welcome back to His former post of duty
II. A TEACHER SHOULD COME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
1. God endorsed Jesus. Matt. 3:17; 17:5
2. Angels endorsed Him. Matt. 1:23; Lu. 1:10, 11
3. Nicodemus, ruler of the Jews, endorsed him. Text
III. SOME QUALIFICATIONS OF A GOOD TEACHER
1. Sympathetic. Mk. 6:34
2. Good character. 1 John 3:5
3. Self-control. Matt. 27:12-14
4. Must know lesson well. John 8:28; Matt. 7:29
5. Must understand pupils. John 2:25; Heb. 2:17, 18
6. Must have deep concern for pupil's welfare. Matt. 23:37
7. Must be capable judge in final exams. Acts 17:31
IV. TEACHERS USUALLY MAKE ENEMIES
1. Jesus made )some, but none could convict Him of improper conduct.

2. Enemies played politics with His profession, but His character
served to exalt Him. Phil. 2:8, 9
V. WHY SHOULD WE LET JESUS TEACH US?
