Question

Answer:

Was the Ethiopian Eunuch baptized in a river or in a pool ? Acts 8:36-38

"Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?"" (Acts 8:36).

We know the eunuch was traveling down a road going from Jerusalem to Gaza (Acts 8:26). Somewhere along that road they came to some water. We also know that the water was deep enough for immersion because Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him (Acts 8:38). Beyond that we are not told the nature of the water that was found -- nor does it make a difference to the account.
